Beat and I are back from the J and Beyond 2010 (http://jandbeyond.org/) International conference. It was a fantastic experience and a great opportunity to put a 3-D moving image to our skype and forum avatars. Some people were actually taller than anticipated and some shorter. Meeting people face-to-face was a great experience and this is something that technology (thank God) has not been able to replicate.
